I find the term Event photography is such a vast, all covering blanket term that could really included, well, anything. Something of a bridge that links to multiple other categories, such as photojournalism, for example. Weddings, at a stretch, could be considered events. Concerts, sporting events, a bachlorette or a bar mitzvah – all technically events. So why am I using the term on my own website when I could have chosen any number of titles instead? Simply because it fits in with much of what I do. I guess I’m just crazy like that.
I really do shoot an awful lot of events. Especially live music. A lot of sporting events and family and commercial events, as well.
Live Music
Here is a collection of my favorite live music shots. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy capturing them.

Passenger visit Montreal during the years biggest snow storm. A storm so severe that the city shut down for a full day.
The man, the legend, Alice Cooper! This image will always be special to me. It represents the first time I ever got to photograph an artist I truly consider a legend.
The action isn't always on the stage, as these two ladies demonstrated at Heavy Montreal a few years back.
Right before diving into the crowd with his bass drum, The Dreadnoughts drummer announced he needed a beer, and crowd surfed his way to get one. Which he did. And he surfed back to the stage with it, too.
Faith No More had quite the stage setup when they played Heavy Montreal.
Another legend. Iggy Pop!
NOFX guitarist Eric Melvin getting some air!
On stage with The Planet Smashers at Pouzzafest.
Slipknot put on a wild, wild show! So much fun to photograph.
This, to me, is the epitome of Punk rock. Shot in Montebello, Quebec.
